Social Media Channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)

We will deep dive into Social Media Channels, there are literally dozens and dozens of channels from which to choose e.g. Facebook to Twitter to YouTube to the many smaller channels.it is important to find the specific channels that work for your individual company.  In addition, since every Social Media channel is different, each one requires a tailored approach that leverages the opportunities and unique characteristics of that particular channel.  In this module, you have an opportunity to discover which channels are important and popular in the social media landscape, and learn the basics of creating valuable interactions through each of them.

  1. Understand the value of influencers for Social Media Marketing
  2. Distinguish between various influencer types
  3. List the benefits and challenges associated with each influencer type
  4. Find and identify various influencers for a given topic
  5. Summarize the best practices for reaching out to influencers and establishing mutually beneficial relationships

Finding and Communicating with Influencers

Effective Social Media Marketing is all about facilitating message sharing among your targeted audience. The more that the right people are talking about your products and services, the more likely it is these people will become your customers. How do you get people to talk about your products? Much of the online discourse is started through influencers, or highly followed individuals who educate their own followers about trends, companies, products, and services. This module dives into how you can find and identify key influencers and then reach out to them so that they share your message.

Social Media Listening and Reputation Management

  2. Explain the importance of each of the steps to reputation management
  3. Understand where to listen for customer comments, conversations, and reviews about a particular brand
  4. Recognize an appropriate response for Social Media complaints and criticism
  5. Summarize how to respond effectively for both positive and negative reviews
